Maintenance - Gorge

Job Summary

The Gorge is seeking a Maintenance Staff to keep venues show‑ready and create an incredible fan experience.

Responsibilities include managing grounds maintenance, mechanical and facilities maintenance, and ensuring safety and appearance of the venue.

• Grounds Maintenance & Upkeep
  • Landscape Management – maintain health and appearance of all venue greenery, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding garden beds, and pruning trees.
  • Irrigation & Water Systems – operate and perform basic repairs on irrigation systems, monitor for leaks or inefficient usage.
  • Seasonal Grounds Care – manage seasonal transitions by planting flowers, applying mulch, and executing leaf removal.
  • Hardscape & Path Safety – use blowers, pressure washers, and industrial sweepers to keep parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways free of debris.
  • Pest & Weed Control – identify common landscape pests and weeds; apply appropriate treatments or fertilizers in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Mechanical & Facilities Maintenance
  • Emergency & Scheduled Repairs – provide rapid response for unscheduled repairs of production equipment during live events and perform preventative maintenance during scheduled downtime.
  • Multi‑Craft Technical Skills – utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise to troubleshoot and repair production machinery.
  • General Trades Support – execute plumbing, carpentry, and simple machinist duties to keep the plant and facility in peak operating condition.
  • Tool & Manual Proficiency – read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; professionally use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a craft apprenticeship; or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
• Preferred: AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Physical ability to perform constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and occasional sitting.
• Valid driver’s license.

$17.13 – $19.00 USD hourly, based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
