Maintenance Mechanic - Richland, MS
This is a mechanic position for contract and common carrier with a logistics/trucking company location in Richland, MS. Reports to shop foreman. Duties and responsibilities include maintaining tractors and trailers; performing inspections on equipment; keeping shop areas safe and clean; other duties as assigned. Requirements and qualifications include high school diploma/GED; good communication skills; preference of one year of experience in maintenance and repair;
air brake certified; must have own tools. Desired: tank experience; CDL with HAZMAT & tank endorsements; knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems.
Job type: full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
