Service Electrician

Upchurch is seeking a skilled Service Electrician to support client projects across commercial and residential environments. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and code compliance. You will interpret plans and schematics, perform panel upgrades, troubleshoot power and lighting issues, and complete preventive maintenance. Working closely with project teams and clients, you'll provide clear communication, detailed documentation, and professional on-site service that reflects Upchurch's collaborative, client-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues for commercial and residential clients
• Install, upgrade, and maintain panels, circuits, and related components
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes
• Document work performed and prepare service reports
• Communicate findings, options, and recommendations to clients
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members on service schedules
