Lighting Technician - Jackson, MS

Description

Stones River Electric is seeking a Lighting Technician to support our growing national operations, offering competitive hourly rates based on experience.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lighting & Electrical Technician with 2-3 years of hands-on field experience. This role focuses on the installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.

• 2-3 years Experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and comfortable with heights
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field
  
  Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR

• Basic electrical hand tools including meter, pliers, wire strippers, and tape measure
