Position Function
The Coordinator for Thrive Scholars Program is responsible for serving as a resource for students by providing individualized support and coaching for students experiencing challenges, including, but not limited to, previously in foster care, emancipated minor, at risk for homelessness, who have experienced the death of a parent(s), or at risk for housing instability or food insecurity. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Holmes Center for Student Success, this individual is responsible for evaluating and coordinating gaps in support and assisting students in accessing resources that will contribute to their success.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceives supervision from the Associate Director of the Holmes Center for Student Success.
Full supervisory responsibility to student workers/Thrive Scholars Ambassadors/Graduate Assistant(s).
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree – Social Work, Counseling.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree – Social Work, Counseling, Higher Education or discipline related to the position.
2-3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
