Job Opportunity
The Mississippi Division of Medicaid is offering a Time-Limited (14) position responsible for providing case management for beneficiaries enrolled in the Assisted Living Waiver; assessing applicants for enrollment; monthly contacts, quarterly contacts, and annual reassessments with the beneficiaries; on site reviews of Medicaid approved Assisted Living Waiver facilities to determine compliance.
Salary: $36,624.00 - $51,491.51 Annually

About the Agency:
The Mississippi Division of Medicaid responsibly provides access to quality health coverage for vulnerable Mississippians. Medicaid provides health coverage for eligible, low-income populations in Mississippi. These populations include children, low-income families, pregnant women, the aged, and the disabled.
What you'll need to be successful:
Background knowledge of Home and Community Based Services
- Assisted Living Waiver; knowledge to provide quality care; great organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience. Appointing authority may require a social worker's license. — Agency
Preferred Qualifications:
Current, active Mississippi Licensed Social Worker;
Four (4) years of direct social work experience with vulnerable adults. Experience in Long Term Care/HCBS is beneficial. Experience in applying social work. Case management experience.
