Job Description

Person will be expected to:

Implement acquired controllers and Aps
Interested in leveraging for mapping/way finding
Authenticate via ISE based portal
Will soon be deploying RFID across wireless
All Cisco hardware
Additional Info. They just upgraded controllers and went down to two for their campuses, down from I believe 10 or so.
They added 200 new AP's and will reuse the rest. I believe they have more than 1,000 now.
Wireless network being deployed was not designed to support the load this application will require

Qualifications

5 years, linux/kernel driver development
5 years, embedded software/firmware development
Expert in C
Strong 802.11 experience, MAC, PHY, QoS
Knowledge of networking layers - ethernet, IP, IPv6
Experience debugging hardware/firmware - JTAG, etc

Preferred experience:

DFS, radar detection, spectral scan, DFS certification
ath9k/ath
10k driver
802.11 MAC, PHY software/firmware/driver development
hardware/firmware bring-up
Qualcomm Atheros driver/firmware
802.11s, QoS, rate control, traffic fairness
