- The Warehouse Operator operates a forklift and other material handling equipment for shipping, receiving, and picking.
- Conducts loading/unloading of outbound and inbound shipments using gas or electric powered forklifts.
- Accurately loads orders, scans items, stages, replenishes, and stacks product.
- Counts and inspects product, notifying leadership of damages or discrepancies.
- Executes all functions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Performs safety protocols, maintains cleanliness and orderliness, and assists with warehouse security.
- Operates equipment including sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, pallet jack.
- Inspects and performs minor maintenance on equipment daily.
- Upholds an active forklift certification at all times.
- Assists with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Performs additional duties as assigned and works overtime when required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Completion of a forklift training program.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timely task completion.
- Can work with minimal supervision and adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment.
- 1‑3 years of warehouse/logistics/distribution experience.
- 1‑3 years of forklift experience.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Bending.
- Walking and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull.
- Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Employees are rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is typically low to moderate.
Compensation and BenefitsBase pay: $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, education, and location.
