Energetic CDL Drivers

Waste Pro requires experienced CDL drivers to deliver and empty large containers for our commercial customers.

• Secure containers by attaching a hook, using control levers to lift the container onto the truck bed, securing straps and hand‑tarping as necessary.
• Provide a high level of customer service to the general public, exhibiting a positive attitude toward company, customer, and municipal goals.
• Answer customer questions and direct them to Customer Service or Sales Representatives for additional information.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines, including safety lane activity and DVIR compliance, and inspect under the hood, under the carriage, and check fluid levels and tire air.
• Maintain a clean truck, washing the exterior weekly and performing routine checks and maintenance.

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment, with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices, and the Department of Transportation and state requirements for commercial motor vehicle operators.
• Hear and see in the normal range, with or without correction.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions, maintain written records, and respond to service reports.
• Speak and read English proficiently to communicate with customers, co‑workers, dispatch, and supervisors, and to make legible entries on paperwork.

• Attend and participate in company‑sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Keep current with technology relevant to the job as used by Waste Pro.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
