Overview
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
ScheduleMonday – Friday shift 07:15 – 17:00
Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma/G.E.D. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with state requirements for the assigned vehicle type and have a good driving record as outlined in policy.
Minimum ExperienceSix months of courier experience preferred.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance required as customer contact is necessary. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
