Transportation Supervisor

N/A

To insure safety and welfare of handicapped children to and from school

• Ensures the safe operation of buses and the arrival of students through maintaining orderly conduct and ensuring that bus safety practices are adhered to
• Assists the bus driver in backing up or driving in hazardous situations
• Assists in enforcing rules and providing discipline to children as necessary
• Performs other related duties as requested or assigned

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.

Grade: A

Days Employed: 184 days per school year

Range: $12.50 per hour

Overtime: Non-exempt
