This dedicated account gives experienced flatbed drivers a consistent freight cycle built around stainless-steel hauling. Outbound customer freight originates near Calvert, Alabama, while planned backhaul opportunities help maintain productive miles and move drivers back toward the next dedicated load.
Freight & SecurementDrivers haul smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Loads are primarily live loaded and live unloaded, and approximately 75% require tarping. Two lightweight six-foot drop tarps are carried on the trailer along with the straps and winches needed for securement.
Return freight can include lumber, insulation, or other flatbed commodities. Backhauls are used to reduce unnecessary empty miles while supporting the account's weekly operating schedule.
Equipment for the JobDrivers are assigned newer-model Kenworth T680 tractors and 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers. Each trailer is equipped with 12 winches, straps, and two six-foot drop tarps, and drivers remain with the same trailer during the trip.
