Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations supports the Warehouse Supervisor by managing either inbound or outbound operations on the warehouse floor, facilitating effective warehouse operations through direction of staff, coordinating receipt of shipments, scheduling incoming trucks, delegating work, producing reports on productivity and quality, and communicating with customers about disruptions and delivery time frames.
Responsibilities- Follow standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations.
- Direct workflows on the floor, including packing, unloading, shipping and managing delivery schedules.
- Analyze internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors on inventory priorities and operational objectives.
- Assist in inbound and outbound workload forecasting using historical and trend analysis.
- Assist in inventory management, stocking and shipping as needed.
- 4+ years of experience (preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good written communication skills.
- Dock stocker and pallet jack experience (preferred).
- Warehouse Management Systems experience (preferred).
- Apply extensive knowledge and company policies to complete assignments.
- Demonstrate expert understanding across job family levels.
- Take lead in applying new processes and skills.
- Provide technical guidance and training to others.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
- Handle complex problems independently, exercising initiative.
- Recommend new or revised processes and participate in implementation.
- Adhere to quality guidelines.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Make decisions in exceptional circumstances within guidelines.
- Provide guidance to less experienced members.
- May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise.
