Carries out daily operational activities associated with hospital supply chain including supply distribution and replenishment, receiving and delivery, mail services and post office, warehouse inventory, and the coordinated supply support system.
Education & Experience- High School Diploma/GED or successful completion of the UMMC Project Search program. Five years of successful work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.

Preferred Qualifications- Stocking, loading, replenishing or distributing inventory experience in a Hospital Supply setting.
- Computer skills and ability to work with related software programs;
Microsoft knowledge and navigation through spreadsheets/databases. - Knowledge of shipping, receiving, stocking, equipment, and inventory management methods and procedures.
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Audit and manage the replenishment system and resolve issues.
- Operate all replenishment system software and programs according to institutional and department policy and procedures.
- Facilitate physical set up of area, including scales, controllers, down loaders, probes, shelf registration, mobile cart and computers.
- Monitor and report expired stock and improper stock rotation; identify issues and seek resolution.
- Ensure DNV compliance for stock storage.
- Stock, maintain, and control inventory of supplies for assigned areas according to department policy and procedures.
- Deliver and verify incoming shipments and/or materials to assigned destinations according to departmental policy and procedures.
- Order required supplies for assigned areas according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Open, pick, close, and distribute internal orders according to departmental policy and procedures.
- Adhere to required hospital standards relative to internal policies, OSHA, TJC and departmental policies and procedures.
- Create and submit daily system tracking reports for all changes, fleet responsibilities and scheduling.
Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment, exposure to biohazardous conditions, working hours beyond regularly scheduled hours, traveling to offsite locations, bending, lifting up to 100 pounds, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, standing, twisting, and walking. Frequency ranges from occasional (up to 20%) to frequent (21% to 50%) and constancy (51% or more).
