We are looking for reinforcement in our department "Technology and Innovation" for the processing of current development projects. What we are looking for is a passion for technology, team spirit and the desire to learn a lot with and from us.

• You will start with a comprehensive introduction to the relevant work processes and methods of research and development within our team
• Your tasks will include conducting experiments on sputtering target production in the pilot plant and the independent preparation of metallographic microstructures of our materials with subsequent microstructure evaluation
• In doing so, you will support the metallurgical development team in practical work around target development, actively learn the various manufacturing steps in sputtering target production and optimize them
• Furthermore, your field of activity includes data research including statistical evaluation of the investigations carried out as well as research on the internet for patents, publications, supplier structures and material availability
• The student job can be combined with the completion of internships or theses

• Advanced studies in materials science / mechanical engineering / (chemical) process engineering / metallurgy or a comparable technical field with the aim of a bachelor's or master's degree
• Technical understanding, manual skills, a very exact working method and the joy of making good things even a little better
• Quick comprehension and an independent, proactive approach to new tasks
• Good MS-Office skills
• Good German and English language skills, clarity and openness in communication
