"To be the preferred Community Bank provider of financial services in the markets we serve." Currently we are hiring a Part Time Teller at Alliance Bank, a locally‑owned community bank serving the populations in Cape Girardeau, Oran, Sikeston, Jackson, and New Madrid, Missouri.

Working as a teller provides you the chance to meet many customers and service their banking requests. In addition to basic cash transactions, you will record loan payments, process the sale of various bank instruments, and assist customers with their banking questions. This position requires flexibility toward schedule changes and Saturday hours.

• Process customer transactions including deposits, loan payments, checking/savings withdrawals and cashing checks according to bank procedures.
• Count and prepare currency, coins, and checks for shipment to the Federal Reserve Bank.
• Balance personal cash drawer daily.
• Respond to customers’ needs while cross‑selling bank products and services.
• Assist in opening and closing the branch, following established security procedures.
• Count, fill, balance, audit, and order monies for the cash vault, ATM, and TCD.
• Answer incoming telephone calls as needed.
• Comply with all departmental and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Maintain regular, punctual, and physical attendance.
• Complete other specified duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months to one year of experience in cash handling and customer service preferred.
• Strong math and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules and Saturdays.
• Able to learn bank products and services to explain to customers.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently must stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.
