* Job Duties:

*** Responsible for assisting the supervisor in training employees and in reviewing property owners and Assessment department appraisals for content and accuracy.
* Appraises a wide variety of commercial properties ranging from small to large facilities, major commercial retail centers and large office complexes, using all or a combination of the three approaches to value (Sales, Cost, and Income Comparisons) in estimating market value.
* Assists the Supervisor and Senior Appraiser in the appraisal of the County’s largest and most complex properties by independently gathering a variety of economic data from realty firms, financial institutions and other organizations and individuals as necessary for use by the supervisor

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
* Four years of commercial appraising experience.
* Possess a Missouri State General Appraisal Certification and be qualified as a supervisor for trainees for appraisal licenses.
* Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.
* Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
