Our client, an industry leader in logistics and manufacturing, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Jackson, MO
Pay Range: $17.35
Shift: 12-hour shift, including day and night shifts
What's the Job?
- Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations using a forklift
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
What's Needed?
- Proven experience as a forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Valid safety equipment such as steel-toed footwear
