Overview
Your Mission:
Follow written and verbal work instructions. Must be mechanically inclined. Responsible for machine changeovers and monitoring various pieces of machinery. Responsible for the performance of operations such as quality control checking, maintaining machine settings and centerlines, changing mechanical parts, and handling finished product. Troubleshooting of equipment, process and/or raw materials. Operations will include the use of small machine tools such as wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, pliers, measuring tools and knives.
Ability to utilize metric system in day-to-day activities. Will be required to perform a variety of raw material handling tasks. Oversee hazardous waste satellite / accumulation areas and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labeling, containment, disposal, documentation, etc.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions.

- Perform operations including quality control checks, maintain machine settings and centerlines, change mechanical parts, and handle finished product.
- Troubleshoot equipment, process and/or raw materials.
- Use small machine tools and hand tools (wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, pliers, measuring tools, knives).
- Utilize the metric system in day-to-day activities.
- Perform various raw material handling tasks.
- Oversee hazardous waste satellite / accumulation areas and ensure regulatory compliance (labeling, containment, disposal, documentation).
- High school education or equivalent.
- Mechanical skills; good hand-eye coordination.
- Attention to detail, safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Team player.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
- Must be able to work rotating swing shifts (both nights and days).
