Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains production equipment with a strong focus on electrical, mechanical, and control systems. This role uses electrical and electronic schematics, PLC programs, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot issues at the component level and ensure reliable, efficient operation of machinery. The technician also configures and programs variable frequency drives, performs calibrations, and supports preventive maintenance activities in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair production equipment issues using electrical and electronic schematics.
- Identify, isolate, and correct faults at the component level within machinery and control systems.
- Analyze PLC programs and equipment manuals to support troubleshooting, operation, and optimization of equipment.
- Configure and program digital AC and DC variable frequency drives (VFDs) to meet equipment and process requirements.
- Perform calibration of sensors, overload protection systems, and electrical and mechanical components to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and three-phase power systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks that may include basic welding as required to support equipment reliability.
- Document maintenance activities, findings, and repairs accurately to support continuous improvement and equipment history tracking.
- Collaborate with team members, production staff, and other departments to resolve equipment issues and support safe, efficient operations.
- Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including days, nights, and some weekends, to provide consistent maintenance coverage.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, MO. The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
