Position Summary:

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting mechanical equipment performance, driving loss elimination initiatives, implementing quality and cost-saving improvements, and ensuring efficient plant operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Inspect and maintain the performance of all mechanical equipment supported in the manufacturing process at a plant
• Determining problems in manufacturing that create production issues and find and implement solutions for those problems
• Perform cost-benefit evaluations for new manufacturing processes
• Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
• Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products.
• Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
• Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
• Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports
