Restoration work can be demanding.

- Physical labor including lifting, demolition, and equipment setup

- On-call rotation schedules

What You ll Do- Respond to homes and businesses affected by water, fire, or storm damage
- Perform water extraction, demolition, and cleanup
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Clean and restore damaged structures and contents
- Document work and communicate with team members
- Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles

Most technicians reach full proficiency around the 90-day mark after working on multiple job types.
What a Typical Week Looks LikeEvery week is different because emergencies don’t follow a schedule.
A typical week may include:
- Responding to water, fire, or storm damage jobs
- Extracting water and removing damaged materials
- Setting up drying equipment and monitoring progress
- Cleaning and restoring structures
- Training with experienced technicians
- Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency response
Overtime may occur when larger restoration projects or emergency calls require additional work hours.

- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work on-call shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Lift 50+ pounds regularly (up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Work in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Perform repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments
