Full‑Time Building Inspector
Is seeking a Full‑Time Building Inspector to perform inspections of residential and commercial structures to ensure compliance with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code and applicable local regulations.
ResponsibilitiesConduct field inspections at various stages of construction; review plans, issue violation notices, maintain inspection records, and provide guidance to contractors and the public. Court appearances may be required.
QualificationsApplicants must possess a valid Building Inspector license issued by the NJ Department of Community Affairs and a valid driver's license. Strong knowledge of building construction practices and code requirements is required. Experience in construction or code enforcement is preferred.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $53,000 – $102,000.
