The facility in New Brunswick, New Jersey seeks a locum tenens Transfusion Medicine clinician to provide specialized support beginning April 20th. The position requires Board Certification in Transfusion Medicine and proficiency in blood banking operations. An active New Jersey medical license is preferred for this assignment.

The clinician will manage comprehensive blood banking and transfusion medicine services during Monday through Friday day shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM. Responsibilities include overseeing blood bank operations with annual volume of 30,000 units released, resolving approximately 200 transfusion reactions, and managing collection and processing of 7,600 blood products. The position requires supervision of blood drives and phlebotomy procedures, as well as management of apheresis services including plasmapheresis, photopheresis, stem cell collection, and CAR-T products with call coverage required for weeknights and weekends.
