Chief Financial Officer
The Township seeks a highly motivated Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial operations and ensure fiscal integrity, transparency, and long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities- Prepare the annual budget.
- Produce monthly financial statements for the governing body, AFS/ADS, and finance-related ordinances and resolutions.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, grant and escrow accounts.
- Ensure compliance with municipal finance laws.
- Minimum five years in municipal finance, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of municipal finance laws.
- Familiarity with Edmunds, Microsoft Office, and Primepoint.
- Licensed New Jersey Certified Municipal Financial Officer (CMFO).
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Salary ranges from $130,000 to $165,000, commensurate with experience, along with a competitive benefits package.
