Civilian Fire Inspector – Jackson Bureau of Fire Safety District No 3.Under direction inspects building and premises to identify and eliminate fire hazards and enforce the provisions of relevant fire safety codes and related regulations; does related work as required. There is NO response duties associated with this position. Requirements:
- NJ Division of Fire Safety Fire Inspector License.
- Minimum of 3 years active experience conducting fire inspections.
- Possess a valid driver's license to operate department vehicles.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of NJ Uniformed Fire Code
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders
Part-Time $20.00 to $26.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience
