The Township is seeking a qualified and motivated full-time Code Enforcement Officer to join the Code Enforcement Department. The successful candidate will perform field inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with municipal ordinances, codes, rules, and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting property inspections, responding to complaints, documenting violations, preparing reports, maintaining records, and working with residents, business owners, and other agencies to achieve compliance.

A qualified candidate will have One (1) year of experience conducting inspections or investigations to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, or ordinances, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Ability to interpret and apply municipal ordinances and regulations, Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports, Valid New Jersey Driver's License required and Candidates must meet all New Jersey Civil Service Commission requirements for the title of Code Enforcement Officer.

The position may require appearances before municipal boards, agencies, and courts in connection with enforcement activities. Salary range: $35,008 to $70,883 based off experience. Jackson Township offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension eligibility.
