RCM Specialist II

The Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery seeks an RCM Specialist II to manage full-cycle revenue operations using Salesforce-based IT solutions. In this role, you will handle charge entry, coding review, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management while ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. You'll collaborate with clinical and IT teams to optimize workflows, generate financial and operational reports, and support CRM-driven patient billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes, including charge entry, billing, and collections
• Review and validate coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Submit and track claims, resolving denials and underpayments promptly
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to optimize Salesforce and EHR workflows
• Generate and analyze revenue, A/R, and denial trend reports
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, payer rules, and internal financial controls
• Support process improvements to enhance cash flow and reduce days in A/RAssist with patient billing inquiries and resolve account discrepancies
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives in RCM and cloud tools
