Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Previous law enforcement experience Valid New Jersey driver’s license Knowledge and/or experience with monitoring and control of adolescents Must be physically fit, mobile and flexible with the ability to run, jog and climb stairs Ability to restrain students and quickly respond to an emergency situation Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in performance of job functions Ability to conduct extensive motorized patrols of district schools and related properties and sit for extended periods of time Must be able to work in the elements Ability to read and write English Understanding attitude while working with students and staff Basic computer skills Ability to exercise independent judgment
