* Key Responsibilities:
**
* ** Leadership and Management:** + Direct and oversee all operations of the nursing home, including clinical, administrative, and facility management. + Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulatory requirements. + Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative staff. + Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting teamwork, professional development, and high standards of care.
* ** Resident Care:** + Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care that meets the needs and preferences of all residents. + Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes. + Address and resolve resident and family concerns, ensuring satisfaction and trust in the care provided.
* ** Regulatory Compliance:** + Stay current with state and federal regulations, ensuring the facility meets or exceeds all standards for long-term care. + Prepare for and oversee state and federal inspections and audits. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all operations, including resident care, staffing, and financials.
* ** Financial Management:** + Develop and manage the facility’s budget, ensuring financial stability and efficiency. + Monitor and control expenses, optimizing resource use without compromising quality of care. + Oversee billing, collections, and financial reporting in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* ** Community and Public Relations:** + Serve as the primary representative of the nursing home in the community, building and maintaining relationships with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. + Promote the facility’s services and reputation through outreach and marketing efforts. + Engage with residents and families to foster a sense of community and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.#####
Qualifications
* *
* Education:
** Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
* *
* Experience:
** Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a long-term care facility.
* ** Licensure:
** Must hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator license.
* *
* Skills:
** + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards. + Proficient in financial management and budgeting. + Ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.#LIONSTONE
