8-4 M-F Working one to two weekends a month

We are seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our clinical team and provide therapeutic services to individuals served.
Position OverviewThe SUD Counselor works under the Clinical Director to provide assessments, therapy, treatment planning, and case management support. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, be comfortable working with individuals and families, and bring a collaborative and professional approach to treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to determine treatment needs.
- Provide individual counseling sessions weekly to assigned clients.
- Facilitate individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions (under supervision, as applicable).
- Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment and case plans.
- Document client progress, behaviors, and interactions clearly and in a timely manner.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and communicate updates to the clinical team.
- Participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Develop aftercare plans for individuals upon release or discharge.
- Act as a liaison with insurance companies and probation officers, as needed.
- Compile and prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless client care.
- Represent TPC Wellness in court when required.
- Suggest program improvements and contribute to quality of care.
- Attend required trainings and maintain professional licensure.
- Transport clients to appointments or functions as needed.
- Licensure: LCDC II, LCDC III (must remain active and valid).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Education:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Health Services, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with technology and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to remain professional and empathetic in demanding situations.
