Seasonal Power Equipment Operator, Bailey Road - Weekend Shifts

• North Jackson, OH
• Full‑time schedule: 30+ hours per week (part‑time: 12‑24 hours per week)
• Hourly Rate: $16.80 – $24.84 (based on job, location, and schedule)

As a Power Equipment Operator, you’re an essential part of our behind‑the‑scenes team—keeping things moving so customers get what they need, when they need it. You’ll operate powered equipment to handle merchandise safely and efficiently in our furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouses. The role includes the operation of various powered industrial trucks and equipment to safely and efficiently move throughout the building.

• Operate equipment safely: use stock pickers and reach trucks to move goods up to 40 ft.
• Input data accurately using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices.
• Work safely in narrow aisles and at heights up to 40 ft with a harness; report failures, damage, accidents, and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with team members, customers, and People Leaders to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Start your shift strong: wear name badge, follow dress code, attend start‑ups, ensure workspace is ready, and stay informed on daily goals.
• Prioritize the customer: work quickly, handle merchandise with care, and pack each package thoughtfully.
• Finish strong by tidying workstation, returning equipment, replenishing supplies, and recognizing coworkers.
• Foster community: show kindness, respect, and inclusion.

• Flexible team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can work various shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with heights while operating equipment up to 40 ft.
• Previous power equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Flexible availability with dependable attendance.
• Proficient with computers and handheld technology.
• Open to cross‑training in other facility areas.
• Can understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors in English.

• Lifting and moving items up to 75 lb.
• Prolonged periods (up to 12 h) of standing/walking around the facility.
• Repeated movement, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to respond to safety/emergency alarms and PIT warning devices.
