The
** Facilities Maintenance Engineer
** is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property; making adjustments and/or mechanical/electrical repairs to the machines and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
** You Will
*** Have a working knowledge of auxiliary support equipment, including but not limited to:
Chillers, Compressors (high or low pressure), Towers, Air Dryers, Pumps, etc.
* Have working knowledge of general building and ground maintenance, including but not limited to: 120/227V electrical, lighting, plumbing, and painting, etc.
* Ensure operation of auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, follow manufacture’s instructions, and notify supervisor of needed repairs
* Enhance auxiliary equipment performance through monitoring and making adjustments
* Adhere to plant preventive maintenance and follow proper work orders procedures
* Perform all assigned work in a safe manner, upholding Plastipak Environmental, Health and Safety policies
** You Have
*** Two years of prior work experience supporting facilities equipment in a manufacturing setting
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills
* Refrigerant or HVAC related licensing preferred
