Job Description A food production facility is seeking a Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment. In this role, you will clean and sanitize production equipment, parts, utensils, and assigned facility areas while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift while following established food and workplace safety procedures.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize production machines, equipment parts, utensils, and assigned facility areas
- Maintain assigned work areas according to sanitation and food safety requirements
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), plant safety rules, and facility policies
- Complete required sanitation and safety paperwork as requested
- Perform additional sanitation duties as assigned
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for 8–10 hours per day
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist motions and maintain the range of motion required for sanitation duties
- Ability to work overtime as required and wear rubberized personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to follow plant, food safety, and GMP requirements

The base pay range for this position is $18.77 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
