Overview
As a Leader, Prestige Selling at Macy’s, you play a key role in driving sales, elevating the customer experience, and supporting the success of our Beauty team. You combine strong product knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for beauty to create a high‑performing, customer‑focused environment.
Responsibilities- Lead by example by engaging with customers to deliver personalized service and coaching Beauty Advisors to meet performance goals.
- Execute events and brand strategies to grow market share, planning and coordinating in‑store and vendor‑led activities.
- Review daily sales goals, stay informed on new launches and top‑performing products, and adapt strategies to current beauty trends.
- Maintain a shoppable space—ensure testers are clean, displays reflect brand standards, signage and pricing are current, and merchandising updates are supported.
- Encourage team members to share loyalty benefits, ensuring customers leave with everything they need and ending each interaction with a sincere thank‑you and personalized touch.
- Analyze business performance of daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual sales results, implementing strategies to grow business.
- Collaborate with vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership to optimize merchandising and promotional initiatives.
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and resolving customer concerns in a professional, customer‑first manner.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and support full‑time and part‑time colleague scheduling.
- 3–5 years of relevant retail, beauty, or leadership experience preferred.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies, safety rules, and procedures in English.
- Proficiency in using computers and technology, including handheld equipment, cash register systems, and transaction processing.
- Capability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and resolving concerns professionally.
