STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Full time position on President's Island
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Maintain General Journal Records
- Monitor Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Inventory
- Manage fixed assets and property tax
- Provide support for monthly accounting period end process
- Support to meet federal and state requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge in Excel and the ability to use Outlook and Word
- Must have analytical skills and a strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys multi-tasking, organization and prioritization
- Works well in a team environment
- Accounting software knowledge (Sage) is a plus
