Full Job Description - Bookkeeper
We are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join a growing team and help maintain our client’s financial records. The Bookkeeper’s duties include working closely with the Accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. This is a full-time position from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and is not remote.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in similar roles and be familiar with Quick Books Desktop and Online, Microsoft Excel, and Word. The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording all day‑to‑day financial transactions accurately.
Responsibilities- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts as needed
- Maintain and balance the general ledger accurately, completely, and up‑to‑date
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Conduct accounts receivable/payable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields with basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and be detail‑oriented
The compensation range depends on experience (DOE)
