LHH is currently hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time position within the healthcare sector in Nashville, TN
.

Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on heavy month-end close processes, bank reconciliations, and preferably experience in either inventory accounting or cost accounting within the healthcare sector. A degree in Accounting is required to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash transactions.
• Assist in inventory accounting processes, including valuation and reconciliations.
• Support cost accounting functions, analyzing costs and variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights.
• Participate in audit preparations and support external auditors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Experience with heavy month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial accounting standards.
• Prior experience with bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, or cost accounting in healthcare is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $ per year
