Groups Recover Together is an outpatient addiction medicine provider that delivers comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction. Based on the principle that recovery is tied to aspects of life that are beyond the reach of an office visit, our care model includes three core modalities that are proven to help individuals get their lives back on track—medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation.
We pride ourselves on providing high‑quality clinical treatment and team‑based support needed to build a life worth living sober. As the Scheduling Coordinator this role will be responsible for developing processes and maintaining staff scheduling activities that support the growth and service delivery of the organization. This role is essential to ensure members have access to available appointments in a manner that ensures rapid access to care.
- Daily tracking of staff and staff productivity.
- Forecasts and approves daily schedules to ensure staffing aligns with member needs (specifically group therapy sessions).
- Resolving staffing needs, gaps on all skill sets, and technical issues.
- Exhibits excellent organizational and time‑management skills, initiative, good judgment, a strong sense of urgency, and attention to detail.
- Works closely with management and the Centralized Scheduling Manager to meet scheduling needs in real time.
- Monitors daily scheduling emails, including staffing call‑offs, to ensure all necessary groups have clinical coverage.
- Communicates scheduling changes to impacted departments promptly and enacts any needed changes.
- Manages call‑out needs (sick and PTO) by arranging, booking, and scheduling backfill requirements.
- Works effectively under pressure and tight time constraints.
- Reviews completed staffing forecasts, schedules, and group therapy coverage plans to ensure accuracy and target attainment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing scheduling for a large‑scale organization.
- Reliable internet and telephone services (10 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload or higher) and a strong Wi‑Fi signal from your remote work location.
- Experience utilizing scheduling software/tools.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace suite.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
