The Body Shop Estimator examines damaged vehicles for dents, scratches, broken glass, and other areas requiring repair, replacement, or repainting. They estimate the cost of repairing damaged automobile and truck bodies based on visual inspection and familiarity with standard parts, costs, and labor rates. • Estimates the cost of repairing damaged vehicles, on the basis of a visual inspection and familiarity with parts, costs, and labor rates.
• Examines damaged vehicles to determine feasibility and costs of repair or replacement of parts.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations of parts.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of automotive experience preferred.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
