Summary:

Overview

Provides videography, photography, and audiovisual services to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and messages in support of West Tennessee Healthcare brand and services, as well as, educational content for staff, patients, and guests. Provide medical photography and videography to assist clinical staff with patient care. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

Responsibilities Work under the supervision of the Media Services Manager in the role of a videographer to create video and multimedia content for West Tennessee Healthcare’s corporate video  addition to producing content for physicians, internal staff, patients, and guests, the content may also be used in marketing and advertising efforts with media outlets, including the web and social media.

Work with the customer to develop the video/multimedia project concept, assist with scripting, establish the production schedule, and determine the best method of distribution.

Use cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and other production tools in the production phase.

Utilize computer-based software to edit content and create masters and copies of files and/or CDs/DVDs.Use Microsoft Office applications to document, manage, and track work orders, projects, and equipment.

Provide support for digital signage, live video streaming, two-way interactive video conferencing, and other technologies used by WTH.Provide photography for portraits, events, and marketing/PR projects.
8.Set-up of audiovisual equipment needed for various events.

Photograph medical and surgical procedures, and incidents involving risk management.

Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in communications, digital media studies, or similar four-year degree preferred. Will consider comparable production experience or industry-specific schooling.

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: N/A

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures and medical photography as acquired through 6 months orientation in a medical setting.

Requires one year of video and photography experience such as may be obtained at a production house, broadcast outlet, newspaper, university, or marketing firm.

Knowledge of website development and maintenance is helpful.
