Job Summary
This position assists in the development and implementation of all aspects of the Union University EDGE Program. The Graduate Assistant works closely with the EDGE Staff and students in the program.

Essential
Job Duties
* Assist in supporting students in the EDGE Program by advising students, collaborating with the EDGE staff, and communicating with campus and community partners.
* Assist in meaningful Inclusion on campus through advocacy and training.
* Teach two courses each academic year for EDGE students. Courses likely include, but are not limited to, Life Skills, Social Skills, Academic Skills, and Employment Skills. This Includes preparation of class lessons and related materials, responding to student inquiries related to the course, and grading assignments.
* Serve one week per month in the EDGE Staff On-Call rotation, to provide after-hours support to students, if needed.
* Other duties and projects to be determined by the Program director.

Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree is required. Acceptance into a post-bachelor's academic program at the University, as well as full-time course registration into the same program of study is also required.
Preferred Qualifications Christian Requirement
Successful candidates must be professing Christians who are active members of a local church, enthusiastically support Union University's Identity, Mission, Core Values, and Statement of Faith, and articulate a Christian worldview in their work and life.
