Job SummaryThis position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies.
Job Duties- Teach courses on ground as assigned, including evening, off‑campus, and distance‑based courses.
- Post grades during the term and submit final grades by the deadline established by the Registrar.
- Complete required college trainings and reports—attendance, early alerts, progress reports, grade submissions, and surveys. Advise the Program Chair or Dean if unable to teach. Attend meetings as requested. Comply with the College’s and T ’s policies and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
- Regularly check JSCC email and departmental mailbox and respond within 48 hours except on the weekend.
- Submit class syllabus or update departmental syllabus at least two weeks prior to the first day of class or within seven days of contract execution.
Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred QualificationsCollegiate level teaching experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Rate$600 per credit hour
