Manager Of Computer Science

Overview

The Manager of Computer Science will lead the statewide implementation of Computer Science education.

• The Manager supports a vision in which all students understand their career and military pathways through individualized support, personalized guidance, and meaningful learning experiences.
• By equipping educators and strengthening statewide systems, this role helps ensure students can make informed decisions and pursue high-skill, in-demand career opportunities.

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and experience equivalent to substantial (five or more years of) full-time professional educational or instructional work, including at least two years of supervisory/administrative or advisory work.

Substitution of Education for

Experience:

Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years, there being no substitution for the required two years of specialized experience.

One year of experience as an Education Consultant 2 with the State of Tennessee.
