This position is responsible for supporting the management of the Athletics program of the University.

Founded in 1823, Union University is a private, coeducational liberal arts-based university offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, with a total enrollment of about 2,600. The main campus is located in Jackson, Tenn., with additional campuses in Germantown and Hendersonville. Provide supervision for cash intake, reconciliation, and general management related to sporting event ticket sales and concessions. Recruit and hire student workers. Supervise the student workers, including managing their schedules and time cards. Prepare game promotion material for game day events, including season ticket sales. Union University is committed to strict compliance with any and all rules and regulations of the NCAA and the Gulf South Conference.

An infraction by the employee of any rule or regulation of the NCAA or the Gulf South Conference will render the employee subject to progressive disciplinary action including, but not limited to, immediate termination of employment. Infraction of any rule or regulation of the NCAA or the Gulf South Conference shall include any infraction whatsoever, whether intentional or unintentional.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree is required. Acceptance into a post-bachelor's academic program at the University, as well as full-time course registration into the same program of study is also required.

Successful candidates must be professing Christians who are active members of a local church, enthusiastically support Union University's Identity, Mission, Core Values, and Statement of Faith, and articulate a Christian worldview in their work and life.

This is a 10-month position (August 2026-May 2027). Compensation includes a $1,000/month stipend and 18 credit hours of tuition (per academic year). Graduate Assistants must be enrolled in graduate courses for the duration of the assistantship.
