Process Engineer, Quality Engineering
Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Process Engineer in the Jackson, TN Plant. The Process Engineer position is responsible for guiding continuous process improvement to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity and profitability.
Minimum Requirements- Excellent conceptual problem‑solving ability
- Advanced computer skills for data analysis
- Strong command of verbal and written technical communication
- Competence in statistical process control (SPC) charting
- Ability to lead teams and influence individuals to achieve measurable results
- Disposition to build relationships and work seamlessly with internal departments (production, sales, logistics, accounting, etc.)
- Professionally interact with customers over the phone and in‑person
- Willingness to travel
- Work closely with associates to optimize product performance
- Maintain and update SOC’s Support Product Development Trials as PTC
- Work closely with Quality Department to drive proactive quality improvement and Customer RCCA investigations
- SME support and Project leadership for Printpack Performance System
- Work with maintenance to ensure reliability and performance of all assets
- Participate in the validation of new equipment installation
- Develop systematic solutions to repetitive failures that adversely affect Plant performance and profitability
- Identify and address capacity, quality, cost, and productivity constraints with data analysis techniques including Pareto Analysis, SPC charting, DMAIC Method, and FMEA
