Job Description
We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who has a good work ethic, is an engineer at heart who loves working with their hands, and is an A-star team player. You will be helping manufacture and engineer innovative precision tools and products that go into satellites, fighter jets, rockets, and more for the aerospace and defense industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and metal fabrication, with a focus on improving manufacturing processes and ensuring high-quality production standards.
What you will do:
- Develop tooling and fixtures for machining and fabrication operations and produce fabrication drawings using 2-D and solid modeling CAD software,
- Apply codes and standards, such as AWS and ASME, to the qualification of processes, procedures, and personnel,
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including process flow charts, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, working closely with production staff.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
What you bring:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the Aerospace, Defense, or Energy sectors.
- Prior experience with mechanical equipment, close tolerance machining, and fabrication of custom-designed equipment.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, accredited to standards such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and Nadcap.
- Strong knowledge of precision machining and metal fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Our Equipment:
- Familiarity with our range of equipment, including CNC machines like the SNK Model RB-300F Bridge Type High-Speed 5-Axis Machining Center, Mazak AJV-25/404N Vertical Mill, and Okuma MC4VA Vertical Mill.
- Experience with inspection equipment such as the API Radian R-50 Laser Tracker System, Mitutoyo CMMs, and Magnaflux Model H-700 Magnetic Particle Inspection Machine.
