Personal Financial Counselor - Fort Campbell, KY - Grade 24

Provide personal financial services at assigned military installations. Deliver the full breadth of personal financial counseling to service members and families, including one-on‑one counseling, briefings and presentations, and referral resources. Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure program scope meets installation needs. Assist members in establishing spending plans for extended absences. Develop and distribute informational financial materials.

Coordinate, publicize, and deliver a variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops covering the military lifecycle. Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars. Utilize virtual counseling and electronic communication modes as authorized. Manage duty‑to‑warn situations per DoD protocol. Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision, in‑service training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree required; associate degree +4 years of experience or high school diploma +6 years may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen; fluent English. Bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
• Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
• Certification:
  Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Minimum: $58,440. Maximum: $93,500.
