Manufacturing Accounting Manager

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting leader to support financial operations at one of its production facilities. This position will play a key role in driving financial visibility, improving operational reporting, and partnering closely with plant leadership during an exciting period of growth and process enhancement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a highly visible manufacturing finance role with strong exposure to operations and corporate leadership.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities for the plant
• Analyze manufacturing and operational results including labor, material, overhead, and inventory variances
• Maintain and review standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Partner with operations leadership to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities
• Assist with capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset management
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audit requests as needed
• Develop financial reporting and KPI analysis to support operational decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate finance and plant leadership teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and plant finance operations
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
• Advanced Excel skills required
• CPA or CMA highly preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills
