Job Summary

The VP–Treasury Management Officer will be responsible for Treasury Management sales activities, including the development of new Treasury Management relationships; cross sell to existing Treasury Management relationships and the ongoing consultative support and retention for Treasury Management clients; soliciting new core commercial deposits; acting as a relationship manager on all deposit/treasury management matters for customers as well as monitoring market conditions and trends to keep their respective markets competitive.

  • Develop and implement Treasury Management functions at the Bank.
  • Solicits, establishes, and maintains new commercial banking relationships for the bank with a focus on treasury management products and core deposit growth.
  • Co-ordinate calling activity with Relationship Managers(s)/Commercial Lender(s) to ensure commercial deposits are gathered and treasury management products are sold to new commercial loan customers or other business clients.
  • Attend Relationship Manager sales meetings regularly and serve as a key product partner for treasury management.
  • Develops and executes sales presentations for customers/prospects. This includes formal written and oral presentations in response to requests for proposals as well as in the regular course of business.
  • Demonstration of products and services to prospective clients.
  • Ensures the proper on-boarding of new treasury management customers with the help of the treasury management support group/deposit operations.
  • Regularly review existing portfolios to identify unexplored opportunities with current clients.
Additional Duties
  • Conducts regular Treasury Management training sessions and product updates for relationship managers, underwriters, and client support personnel.
  • Develops an understanding of market pricing and available fee opportunities, including a broad knowledge of budget projections and revenue components.
  • Develops Remote Capture services.
  • Enhances current cash management services for new and existing clients.
  • Develops a credit card program.
  • Enhances current relationship with Intra Fi Network to promote CDAR/ICS products for customers.
  • Regular and punctual attendance as stated within company policy.
  • Providing customer or bank maintenance requests daily to Data Entry in accurate and timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of treasury service and cash management skills.
  • Banking knowledge, including various federal regulations and bank policies and procedures and responsibilities relating to each.
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal customer and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and/or legal documents.
  • Ability to write procedures, routine reports, and business correspondence.
  • Ability to rationalize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions and resolve customer problems.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, clients, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Advanced technology skills: computer, phone, email, internet, mobile app, etc.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 5+ years financial services experience preferred.
  • 2+ years business development or related experience within Treasury Services strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of phone handset use.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to twenty‑five pounds at times.
